Sydney is a criminal defense attorney who represents clients facing both misdemeanor and felony charges in Idaho. Originally from Spokane, Washington, Sydney graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2020. During law school, she earned recognition for her legal writing and advocacy, receiving awards for excellence in brief writing and analysis. While completing her studies, she externed with the Federal Defenders of Eastern Washington and Idaho, where she gained valuable experience assisting in federal criminal matters.

Following graduation, Sydney clerked for the Honorable Ned Williamson, District Judge in Blaine County, Idaho. She then joined the Ada County Public Defender’s Office, where she represented clients charged with a wide range of offenses and developed substantial courtroom experience. After relocating to Washington, Sydney served as a Senior Trial Attorney with Counsel for Defense in Spokane, where she continued to handle serious felony matters. Over the course of her career, she has appeared in state, federal and tribal courts.

Now based once again in Idaho, Sydney is dedicated to providing skilled, client centered representation to individuals facing criminal prosecution. She is committed to protecting her clients’ rights and achieving fair outcomes through diligent preparation and advocacy. Outside the courtroom, Sydney enjoys exploring Idaho’s trails, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
