Michaela is an experienced criminal defense lawyer who represents those accused of misdemeanor and felony crimes. She enjoys being in the courtroom and zealously defending her client’s rights through all available means, including negotiation, mitigation efforts, motion practice, and trial.
Michaela received her Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2015. As a law student, she was a research assistant for the General and Mediation Clinic director. She also participated in both clinics, receiving the Spirit of the Clinic Award, which is given to those who best represent the clinic and demonstrate passion for their work. Prior to joining the firm, Michaela clerked for the Honorable Thomas J. Ryan at the Canyon County District Court before accepting a deputy trial attorney position with the Ada County Public Defender’s Office.
